Another is a novel (Not a Light Novel) written by
Ayatsuji Yukito (Yukito Ayatsuji to us English people) and is spread over 2 books.
The story is told from the point of view of our protagonist, Sakakibara Koichi, a boy with a love for Horror books and who is often called; Horror-Boy.
When Koichi moves to Yomiyama he finds himself having to go to hospital and ends up missing the beginning of school. What he doesnt know, is how much of an impact this will have on the class...
All of a sudden, Koichi finds himself drawn to the somewhat avoided, Misaki Mei (Mei Misaki)
And as he tries to figure her out, he ends up learning things he probably shouldnt have. And what's with all the dolls?!
Another is a fantasic book and Yukito has really done well with helping you picture every scene vividly in your head as you read. I really love how the charcters interact with each other, in a ery real way of fear, terror and worry. This really got me engrossed and I've already purchased the second book for my kindle!
